This Privacy Policy explains how Clean Anything (“we”, “us”) handles information when you use the Clean Anything mobile app.
device_id helps
manage free cooldowns and access. Subscriptions are purchased via Apple In-App Purchase and validated with
Apple using subscription transaction data (not your Apple ID email).
Clean Anything helps you take a photo of a space or object and receive AI-assisted cleaning guidance. We aim to collect and use as little information as possible to operate the app.
This Privacy Policy applies to the Clean Anything mobile app and the backend services used to upload images and return cleaning analysis.
When you take or select a photo and request analysis, the image is uploaded to our servers so we can generate a cleaning response. The image may include information visible in the photo.
The app creates and stores a random identifier on your device (device_id) to manage
features like free analysis cooldowns, usage limits, and linking a subscription entitlement to the app on
your device. This identifier is not your Apple ID and does not include your name or email.
If you purchase a subscription, we may store the subscription’s originalTransactionId (from
Apple’s in-app purchase system) to validate and maintain your entitlement (for example, Standard vs Pro).
We do not receive your Apple ID email address.
Our servers may receive limited technical information (such as timestamps, request metadata, and error logs) needed to operate, troubleshoot, and secure the service.

If you choose to analyze a photo, we process the image to detect relevant items and generate a cleaning guide. This may involve sending the image (or derived signals) to AI systems used for analysis.
Please avoid uploading photos that include sensitive personal information (for example, financial documents, medical information, or other highly sensitive content).
Subscriptions are purchased through Apple’s In-App Purchase system. Apple may collect information necessary to process payments. We do not collect or store your full payment card details.
To verify subscription access, our backend may validate a signed transaction with Apple and store the
resulting entitlement (for example, plan tier and expiry) linked to your originalTransactionId
and/or your app’s device_id.
We do not sell your personal information.
We may share information in limited circumstances:
We retain information only as long as necessary to provide the service and operate the app (for example, to enforce cooldowns, maintain subscription entitlement, and troubleshoot issues).
Photos uploaded for analysis may be stored temporarily to provide the analysis and for service reliability. We may delete or anonymize data when it is no longer needed.
We take reasonable measures to protect information, including using secure transport (HTTPS) and limiting access to systems. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete certain information we hold.
Because Clean Anything does not require account registration, we typically identify records using your
device_id and subscription entitlement identifiers.
You can also control what you upload: do not upload photos you don’t want processed, and consider excluding identifying details from images.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date at the top when we do. If changes are significant, we may provide additional notice within the app or on this page.
